Biloxi Regional Medical Center’s 5th Annual Celebration of Caring Women was held at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino recently with guest speaker Deanna Favre, wife of NFL player, Brett Favre. The goal of the event is to recognize women who do what they think is just ordinary, but actually what they are doing is extraordinary. Both Deanna and Brett Favre are from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and are always looking for ways to give back to their community. Through their active involvement, Biloxi Regional was able to draw a stellar turnout from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In partnership with Lifetime Television for Women and Cable One, five women who have shown extraordinary character were honored in the categories of Perseverance, Leadership, Mentor, Defender and Promise. Biloxi Regional is proud to honor not only the winners each year but also recognizes each nominee as an extraordinary woman.
