We understand that health care is a local, hands-on service that should be delivered in ways that are unique to each community. We work hard to ensure new partnerships retain their heritage and local focus even as we work to help each one fulfill its potential to become a thriving medical center.

We believe our collaboration with local leaders is so important that we require each of our hospitals to establish a board of trustees that includes community leaders and members of the medical staff. We also require our local hospital management teams to live in each community we serve.

Our focus is to provide management expertise and resources, including sophisticated information technology platforms, so each hospital is empowered to provide the best and most appropriate care possible.
