Yes, all Health Management Associates are provided access, free of charge, to an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP).
Health Management understands that the demands and pressures associated with balancing work and personal life can be overwhelming. We want to be certain we are providing our Associates with the best possible support and services. That is why we contracted with ValueOptions to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Work/Life balance services for our Associates and their immediate family members.
Through your EAP, you can receive help and access information over the phone, in person or on the Internet. This free service is available to you and your family members 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Whether you're having trouble finding a day care provider, feeling stress or need assistance with a financial problem, your EAP can help. Professionals are available to help you address concerns such as:
• marital and family concerns
• child and elder care issues
• stress, anxiety and other emotional health topics
• workplace concerns
• legal and financial issues
• substance abuse and dependency
• health issues

Information is also available on the EAP Achieve Solutions® website, which includes a wealth of resources about problems people deal with every day. Achieve Solutions® offers helpful tips, articles, self-evaluations and other interactive tools on stress, emotional concerns, relationships, balancing work and family, taking care of children and elderly family members, and life skills.
