Physician Credentialing
Physician Security Plus offers delegated and traditional credentialing services to its members. Credentialing applications are completed and tracked for all credentialing applications. Physicians are kept informed along the way as to the progress of the credentialing process.
The credentialing processes include:
- Assure compliance with NCQA standards
- Assure compliance with all federal and state standards for credentialing in the following states:
Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, West Virginia, Texas
- Professional review of applications for completeness and accuracy
- Collection of relevant and required supporting documents
- Primary Source Verification
- Conduct Site Visits when required
- Maintenance of files for re-credentialing
