Physician Credentialing
Physician Practice Resources offers referral resources for credentialing services to its members. Credentialing applications are completed and tracked. Physicians are kept informed to the progress of the credentialing process by the Companies to assist in being credentialed by as many Managed Care companies as possible by the practice start date. The credentialing processes include:
- Assure compliance with NCQA standards
- Assure compliance with all federal and state standards for credentialing in the following states:
Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, West Virginia, Texas
- Professional review of applications for completeness and accuracy
- Collection of relevant and required supporting documents
- Primary Source Verification
- Conduct Site Visits when required
- Maintenance of files for re-credentialing
