John R. Finnegan
Division 7, Senior Vice President and Divison CEO
John R. (“Jay”) Finnegan is a Senior Vice President and the Division 7 CEO. Mr. Finnegan joined the company in May 1999 as the Chief Executive Officer of Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. In 2005, Mr. Finnegan was promoted to Vice President while overseeing Washington hospital operations. In 2007, Mr. Finnegan was promoted to Senior Vice President and then hospital Division Seven Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Finnegan has been employed in healthcare for 27 years, all in positions of executive leadership. Mr. Finnegan’s executive management experience includes positions in a not-for-profit system, investor owned HCA and the last nine years with HMA. Mr. Finnegan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Belmont Abbey College and his Masters of Arts degree in Healthcare Administration from the George Washington University. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
