Matthew F. Tormey

Matthew F. Tormey is the Vice President of Compliance, Internal Audit, and Security. Mr. Tormey joined Health Management Associates in January, 2000 and is based out of HMA’s corporate office in Naples, Florida. Prior to joining HMA, Mr. Tormey worked as a Special Agent with the FBI in New York from 1991 through 1999. Prior to that he worked for a law firm in New York from 1990 to 1991. Mr. Tormey is an attorney licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He received his law degree from New York Law School and his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
