Stanley D. McLemore
Senior Vice President - Operations
Mr. McLemore is the Senior Vice President of Operations Finance. He joined the company in January of 1993 as an assistant controller at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring, Florida. Mr. McLemore was promoted to Chief Financial Officer at Hamlet Hospital (Hamlet, North Carolina) in August of 1993. In February of 1995, he was promoted to Manager, Operations Finance at HMA’s Corporate Headquarters and became a Director in October of that same year. After serving as a Regional Financial Manager for 4+ years, Mr. McLemore was promoted to Vice President of Operations Finance in September of 1999, and subsequently promoted to his current position of Senior Vice President in January of 2004. In his current capacity he is responsible for the financial operations of HMA’s fifty-five (55) acute care hospitals, as well as, the accounts receivable management program for the company. Prior to joining HMA, Mr. McLemore was employed by Humana, Inc., where he served as a Financial Specialist and later as the Assistant Executive Director of Finance. Mr. McLemore holds a B.S. degree in Business from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition, he holds a Master of Public Health and Master of Business Administration also from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
