William C. Steere, Jr.

William C. Steere, Jr. has been the Chairman Emeritus of Pfizer Inc. since July 2001. He was Chairman of the Board of Pfizer Inc. from 1992 to 2001 and Chief Executive Officer from 1991 to 2000. He was a director of Dow Jones & Company, Inc. from 1997 to 2007 and is currently a director of MetLife, Inc. In addition, Mr. Steere currently serves as a director of the New York University Medical Center and the New York Botanical Garden and is a member of the Board of Overseers of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
